Daniel Fox
Owner, Producer/Engineer

Dan is a multi-instrumentalist (bass, drums, keys, guitar, voice) and proponent of genre mashing and sonic contrast. He started studying music at age 4 with his older brother, acclaimed pianist/composer and Steinway artist Donal Fox. He is an expert level Propellerheads Reason user, Certified Avid Pro Tools Instructor and iZotope endorsee. Daniel is a Lecturer in Music Engineering at Tufts University, Co-Chair of the Audio Engineering Society, Boston Section, and serves as Program Chair for the AES High School Audio Educators Conference. He is an Educational Advisor for Sonarworks, Leapwing Audio, and many other audio software developers.

Dan spent 17 years as the Director of Creative Media & Technology at ZUMIX, an award-winning youth music program in East Boston. He was the A/V Project Manager for the buildout of ZUMIX’s LEED gold certified Firehouse facility. He is also a consultant in audio and music tech facility construction, curriculum, hardware/software, and audio engineering techniques. Projects include: NEMPAC, Worcester State University, Girls Inc., Teen Empowerment, and Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center.

Joe Ziemba
Engineer

Joe mentors youth in live sound production and ensemble performance at ZUMIX Inc. He is also a teaching artist at Mario Umana Academy. Joe gigs regularly on guitar and electric bass, and has been instructing private students since 2010.

Engineering credits include Animal Instincts by Pangea, Undone by The Big Lonesome, as well as the audio book “All Souls” for Audibile.com. Live sound credits include: Debo Band, Soul Clap, Miss Fairchild. 

On his days off, Joe can be found in monkey pajamas making abstract electronic music on his brown Casiotone keyboard.

Joel Edinberg
Producer/Engineer

Joel is a composer and producer based out of the Boston area. He currently works out of Q Division Studios and performs regularly on the saxophone.

At the age of 10, Joel performed his first paying gig with his family band. Rooted in Jazz, R&B, and Reggae, he joined his first band, the Tile Renters, in high school. That band toured throughout the North East, opened for many of the area's top Ska Bands, and eventually signed with King Django to record an album. He had also been selected to play in the regional, stage, and all eastern concert bands.

Joel eventually moved to Boston where he founded the Somerville Symphony Orkestar, an International Party Music band, in 2009. His band has recorded two studio albums and one live album under his production. They have opened for the Rebirth Brass Band, Moon Hooch, Slavic Soul Party, Bella's Bartok, Uzimon, Melvin Seals and the Jerry Garcia Band, and Dudu Tassa & the Kuwaitis.

In 2011, he decided to shift more to composition and music production. He started working at Q Division Studios in Somerville, MA and began writing music for television and commercials and has had his music featured on Daily Show, Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer, Most Expensivest, Tosh.0, The Legend of Mick Dodge, Un Nueva Dia (Telemundo), American Pickers, and Pawn Stars. While as a recording engineer, saxophonist, and producer, he has worked with the B-52s, Guster, Pino Palladino, The Dropkick Murphys,Chris Dave, Moon Hooch, Eli "Paperboy" Reed, Thelma Jones, Willie Hightower, Bob Metzger (Leonard Cohen), and George Thorogood. He continues to work as a freelance composer, producer, recording engineer, and session musician.


PJ Goodwin
Engineer

PJ works in a diverse array of production environments. You can find PJ production managing concerts and performances at the Institute of Contemporary Art and Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He has recorded and produced projects with Rakalam Bob Moses, Old Wave, Seth West, Junius, The Daggers and more. He is also the bass player, Tech Director and Tour Manager for Debo Band.
